Hello,
Thank you for your query.
An electrocardiogram (ECG) alone cannot indicate a problem or how serious it is. It is a supplement to clinical exam and other tests to diagnose heart problems.
That said, an ECG reflects the electrical activity of the heart internal circuit.
The main power switch is the sinus node which gives off impulses throughout the heart with certain characteristics known as the
sinus rhythm.
Once the impulse is initiated, the stimulus flows through a fixed circuit and enables the contraction of the heart muscle for effectively pumping blood to the rest of the body.
Any damage to the muscle or the electrical circuit or any other relevant abnormalities in the blood can reflect on the ECG.
Please note that this shows the electrical pathway through the heart and actual mechanical function.
Now back to your query:
1) rapid sinus rhythm mean a
heart rate more than 100 beats per minute. Normal is between 60-100.
2) low QRS voltage in pre cordial leads- this means that the electrical impulse was not picked up at the surface of the chest, in an ideal voltage.
Can be due to thick chest wall or fatty tissue improper equipment condition.
3) minor inferior
repolarization disturbances - this mean that there are some changes noted when the heart is trying to relax.
As a conclusion, they have stated that it could either be non-specific (which means that there is not enough information to say there is a problem and it could be normal) or they suspect some circulation disturbances to the inferior portion of the heart.
So based on this alone, it doesn't sound serious but it is better to consult a physician and do a complete physical exam and tests if necessary to see if there is really any problem.
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
